Under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture, Majid Al Futtaim unveiled its plans to increase its total investment in the Sultanate to OMR 705 million by 2020, which includes the development of City Centre Sohar, a new regional mall. The announcement was made to Omani dignitaries at a launch event which reinforced Majid Al Futtaim’s commitment to its investments in Oman.

Mall of Egypt is the company’s flagship project in Egypt, with an investment of EGP 5 billion. Featuring an array of exclusive international brands introduced for the first time in Egypt, Africa’s first indoor skiing slope, a 21-screen VOX Cineplex among others, the mall is set to offer an unrivalled shopping and leisure experiences. The event was attended by various retailers, Kim McInnes, Chief Executive Officer - Shopping Malls, Majid Al Futtaim and other Majid Al Futtaim senior management.
